Age 80, a resident of Mokena, formerly of Orland Park, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2019. Beloved husband of 54 years to Judith Laurinaitis (Rabiega); loving father of Lora (Jim) Morsovillo, David (Michelle) Laurinaitis, and Stacey (Thomas III) Costello; cherished grandfather of Matthew and Nicholas Morsovillo, Lucille, and Wyatt Laurinaitis, and Lauren and Alexis Costello; dear brother of Victor (Barbara) Laurinaitis, Peter (Mary Ann) Laurinaitis, and the late Ronald Laurinaitis; also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews. Stanley was a United States Army Veteran and member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Orland Park. He enjoyed spending time with his family and attending his grandchildren’s acting and sporting activities. Stanley made a precious decision to become an organ and tissue donor for Gift of Hope, a non-for-profit organization that coordinates organ and tissue donation to save and enhance as many lives as possible. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Monday, September 30, 2019 from 8:00 AM until time of Chapel Prayers at 10:00 AM to St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 14327 Highland Ave., Orland Park, IL 60462 for a 10:45 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with full military honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in memory of Stanley Laurinaitis to the University of Chicago Medicine.
