Age 51 of New Lenox, IL passed away Monday, September 19th, 2022, at his home surrounded by family. Scott was born in Joliet, July 23, 1971. Beloved husband of Jyll (nee Sedlock) Dite; loving and proud father of Emyrsen, Cayden and Ava Dite; loving son of Butch and Sue (nee Borchardt) Dite, loved brother of Kris Geigner, Jodi (Joe) Garcia, and Jill (late Jason) Been; dear son-in-law of the late Joe and the late Doris (nee Grabowski) Sedlock; brother-in-law of Joe Jr. (Kaye) Sedlock, Jackie (Randy) Gould, and Jo Ell (Mike) Sirotnak; beloved nephew of Duane and Pat (nee Biesterfeld) Borchardt and Dan and Dianna (nee Dite) Heseltine; cherished uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Scott had a 30-year career with ComEd and retired in 2021. He enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening and had a passion for breeding Boxers. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E Francis Rd. New Lenox, IL on Friday, September 23, 2022, from 4:00 PM until time of Memorial Service at 7:00 PM.
