SAMUEL R. MACON

Age 82, of Lockport, passed away on Thursday, November 17th, 2011 at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet.

Samuel is survived by his loving family, wife, Joyce Macon (Reiter), children, Linda (Mike) Schneider, Kenneth Macon, grandchildren, Caleb Macon, Andrew Macon, Sean Macon, nephews, Mikel Macon and Gary Macon.

Samuel was preceded in death by his parents, John & Grace Macon (Todd), brother, James David Macon and daughter Teresa Macon.

Samuel was a United States Navy Veteran and a member of both the Moose and the American Legion in Lockport.

Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, on Monday, November 21st, 2011 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral service, Tuesday, November 22nd, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment, Brooks Cemetery, Homer Glen.
