Ruth L. Timms, age 89 of Chicago, passed away Tuesday, November 8th, 2011 at Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
Ruth is survived by her loving family, children, Shirley Sorenson, Robert Timms, Patricia Timms, grandchildren, Melissa Byrd, Rebekah (Joshua) Cole, great grandhchildren, Mallory Byrd and Jed Byrd.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, John & Ida Pletz, husband, Lyle C. Timms, son, Richard Timms and brother, William Pletz.
Ruth was a former member of St. Phillipus Church in Chicago.
A funeral service will be held, Monday, November 14th, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Montrose Cemetery, 5400 North Pulaski Road, Chicago, IL 60630.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Royal Family Kid's Camp would be appreciated.
