Age 94, a resident of Tinley Park, formerly of Riverdale, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018. Beloved wife of the late John Shirritt Sr.; loving mother of Nancy (Robert) Daliege and John Jr. (Terri) Shirritt; cherished grandmother of Robert (Jackie) Daliege, Matthew (Lisa) Wilson, and Elizabeth (Joseph) Zinsky and great-grandmother of Jameson, Remington, Celia, Jack, Julia, and Ben. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents Hugo and Christina Schmidt (Wordelmann) and siblings Herbert, Hugo Jr., Harold, Charles, Shirley, and Mary Louise.
