88, of Joliet IL, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Beloved mother of Ronald and Susan Sterling; loving grandmother of Arron (Nancy Spagnolia) Sterling and great-grandmother of Tucker Owen Sterling; cherished god-mother of Joanne (Edward) Parks; dear aunt of Patsy (Randall) Carlson. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Martha Rauch; and siblings Lois (late Arthur) Granat, Bernice (late Earl) Reish, and Floyd (late Dolores) Rauch. Ruth was a member of Christ Lutheran in Orland Park, and retired from Andrew High school in 1991. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 3-8 PM. Funeral service Friday, July 17, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.
