Rudolph Marco Rossetto, 90, recently of Sunrise Village in Olympia Fields passed away Jan. 7, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Rossetto in 2008 and is survived by his children: Ronald (Patricia) Rossetto, and Regina Rossetto; Grandchildren: Matthew, Michael, Patrick, Anya; Brother of Mary Louise (late Vincenzo) Gianfrancesco, late Raymond (late Rosemary) Rossetto. Dear Uncle of Charlotte, Kaz, Shari, John and Anne; cherished cousin, former husband of Rita Schovain and friend to many. He is also survived by Nancy’s children: Lynda (Robert Schenn) Koppen, Laura Baird, Michelle (Greg) Engels, Cindy (Charles) Hodges; grandchildren: Stefan, Brandon, Jasmine, Autumn, Quintyn, Andrew, Connor, Jonathan and Daniel. Rudy was Born in Chicago Heights, the oldest child of Silvio and Mary Louise Rossetto, Rudy served in the Army during the Korean War, was a bricklayer and member of Local 21 in Chicago. He was a longtime resident of Homewood, IL and Lowell, IN. Rest in Peace "Spatamatz". A Private Memorial Mass will be held at St. Kieran Catholic Church in Chicago Heights on Mon., Jan. 11, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. The Mass will be livestreamed on heartlandmemorial.com.
