Rosemarie "Rose" M. Drahos

Rosemarie “Rose” M. Drahos (nee Kindl), 83, passed away peacefully on Jan. 28, 2021 at home in Tinley Park. Loving mother of the late Steven Drahos (2020), Debra (Vince) Padilla of Tinley Park, and Randy (Jeri) Drahos of Manteno. Devoted grandma of Joe, Jim (Ashley Dardanes), and Brandon Padilla; Randy Jr. (Jessica), Kaitlyn, Ryan, and Lindsey Drahos and great-grandma of Olivia, Emily, Matthew, Adrian, and Sophia. Rose was preceded in death also by her beloved husband, Lloyd Drahos in 2008. Rose was a 1956 graduate of Bloom Township H.S. In 1957, Rose married Lloyd Drahos and they were married over 50 years. Together they enjoyed dancing, golf, vacations and gambling. She was an owner operator of United Fire Controls of Tinley Park along with her husband and sons. Rose was a very faith filled woman, devote Catholic and truly dedicated to her family. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Lawrence O’Toole Catholic Church, 4101 St. Lawrence Ave. Matteson, IL 60443 at a future date. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Lawrence O’Toole Catholic Church or to P.A.W.S. of Tinley Park in Rosemarie’s memory.
