Age 80, lifelong resident of Lockport joined her Savior, while surrounded by her loved ones, on Thursday, December 26, 2013, after enjoying one last Christmas with her family at home.

Rosie, as her friends and family knew her, was the youngest born to the late John & Beulah Lambdin on September 28, 1933. She is survived by her true love, Russell Musselman, whom she celebrated 58 years of marriage with just this past March 27. They have two daughters, Collette (Brett) Thomas of Homer Glen and Cindy Papesh of Crest Hill. She lovingly helped raise all three of her grandchildren; Dr. Liz Thomas-Hansen, Sheila (Phil) Paulino and Dan (Amy) Royer.

Her brother Robert Lambdin, sister Delsie Bunning, brother-in-law Roy Sybert, and sisters-in-law Mary Ann Lambdin and Nancy Lambdin precede Rosie in death. She is survived by her loving sister, and best friend, Zelma Sybert (Lockport), brother John (Betty) Lambdin (Sullivan, IL), sister-in-law Lois Lambdin (Joliet), numerous nieces, nephews, friends and her Maine Coon cat. She made her walk to the Lord with her brother-in-law Robert (Stub) Bunning who also passed on Thursday, December 26, 2013.

She was a beloved member of Christ United Methodist Church of Lockport where she devoted much of her life to the Lord (and enjoyed quite the circle of friends and social life).

Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, IL 60441 on Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and again on Monday, December 30, 2013 at Christ United Methodist Church, 224 Bruce Road, Lockport, IL 60441 from 9:00 AM until time of funeral service at 10:00 AM.
