78, of Valparaiso, IN passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at his home. Ron was born in Chicago to the late Joseph H. and Alvina M. (nee Wojtowicz) Draus. Loving brother of Gilbert (Regina) Draus; dear uncle of Kenneth (Pamela) Draus, Robert Draus, and Daniel Draus; great uncle of Ryan and Ethan. Ron was retired from the Technology Department at The University of Chicago. The family will receive friends at St. Mary Catholic Church, Mokena on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 10:30am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am.
