Ronald Anthony Molenaar
Age 77, of New Lenox, IL., passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2015. Beloved father of Elizabeth (Paul) Rose, Mark (Janice) Molenaar, Wendi (Emmit) Molenaar, Jerry (Carlie) Molenaar, and Heather Molenaar; cherished grandfather of Brian, Buerkley, Brianna, and Cassidy; cherished great-grandfather of Kaiden; dear brother of Sandra Molenaar; also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry Molenaar and Theresa nee Zemola, son Scott (Sandra) Molenaar; sister Sharon Molenaar, and grand-daughter Jaclyn. Ron was a member of Local #73 and Local #265. He was a longtime member of the Illinois Skeet Shooting Association, the National Skeet Shooting Association, the Palos Sportsman Club, and muscle car enthusiast. The families will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 3-9 PM. Funeral service Friday, October 30, 2015 with chapel prayers at 9:30 AM to St. Jude Catholic Church, 241 W. 2nd St., New Lenox, IL 60451 for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery, Orland Park, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Memphis TN or American Lung Association would be appreciated.
