58, of New Lenox, passed away at home on Thursday, October 29, 2015. Robert was born in Blue Island, on February 2, 1957, to the late Stanley and Adeline (nee Radwanski) Jungiewicz. Robert was a former Auto Adjuster with Allstate Insurance Company. He also worked at Fisher Body Stamping Plant in Willow Springs, IL. He was a member of United Methodist Church, New Lenox. Robert loved fishing and boating with his children, and teaching his grandchildren how to fish, swim and enjoy nature. He also enjoyed maintaining his yard with his beloved dog by his side and watching the Bears even when they had a bad season. Beloved husband of Tammy (nee Hively) Jungiewicz; loving father of David (Ashley) Jungiewicz and Kaitlin Jungiewicz; cherished grandfather of Mason and Corbin Jungiewicz; dear brother of Patricia (John) Fox; fond uncle of several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Monday, November 2, 2015 from 3 – 9PM with a Funeral Service at 7:30PM. Per Robert's wishes cremation will take place after the Funeral Service. Private inurnment at a later date will be at Chapel Hill Gardens South Mausoleum.
