Robert Richard "Dick" Bottomley
69, late of New Lenox, passed away Monday, August 29, 2011 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center, Joliet. Born in Morris to the late Robert R. and Sophie (nee Stankewitz) Bottomley. Survived by his loving family; wife Sue (nee Karkhuff); children, Michele (Christopher) Van Note and Craig (Kristina) Bottomley; grandchildren Jonee, Samantha and Michaela Schultz and Annick Bottomley; a brother James (Jane) Bottomley and a sister Veronica (Roger) McGrath. Dick was employed by Tri Star Cabinet and Top Co. as a Salesman and Designer for 30 years. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran, a member of New Lenox VFW Post 9545 and New Lenox American Legion Post 1977. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Disabled American Veterans would be appreciated. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Thursday, September 1, 2011 from 2-9 PM. Funeral Service Friday, September 2, 2011, at 10:00AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
