Reiter, Robert Raymond (Bob) 93 of Frankfort passed away early Friday morning peacefully with family at his side. Devoted and loving Husband of Dorothy nee Smego for 71 years. Loving Father of Randy (Mary), Gregg (Donna), Cindy (Ed) Ludera, Laurie (Norm) Glass, Jeff (Sophia), and Beth Ingle. Loving Grandpa of his fourteen "Peanuts": Tim, Stephanie, Joel, Erin, Sean, Nathan, Suzanne, Brianne, Ryan, Taylor, Chandler, Ian, Ari, Melina, and Niko; loving Great Grandpa of seven: Gerhardt, Hildi, Harley, Oliver, Owen, Daphne, and Maya. Brother of the Late Harold (Shirley), George (Ruth), Melvin (Berle), Shirley, Clairabelle (James Keller), and Evelyn Krohn. Brother-in-law of Joseph (Kay), Bernadine (late Richard) Barrett, Theresa (late Donald) Schofield, Richard (late Margaret), Katie (George Mahalick), Doris Smego and Wade Krohn, and the late George (Muriel), Bernard (Mildred), John, Raymond , and Rosemary (Richard Bannon). Fond Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Bob was involved with numerous organizations, including The Illinois Agriculture Extension Council, The Will County Farm Bureau, The Farmers Union Livestock Commission, The Illinois Pork Producers Association, The Parish of St. Jude New Lenox, The Lincoln Way School Board, and the Knights of Columbus. Although there were many groups and many people he has positively influenced, Bob had no greater devotion than the one he held for Dorothy, the love of his life, and the children they brought into this world. Visitation will be at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423, on Monday March 3rd from 3PM to 9PM. Funeral will commence at 8:45AM from Kurtz Memorial Chapel, and then to St Anthony Catholic Church 7659 W Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423, for a 10:00AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment follows at St. Marys Cemetery, Mokena IL. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made in the form desired by friends.
