42, of New Lenox, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born in Evergreen Park, IL to Jeanette (nee Vedder) and the late Paul Sanders. Beloved husband of Sherri (nee Slee); Loving father of Sydney, Bobby and Ally; Dear brother of Paul "P.J." (Janet), MaryAnne (Ed) Babbe and Michael (Pam); Fond son-in-law of Elaine (Thomas) Eubank and Edward (Georgeen) Slee; also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Robert was a member of Pipefitters Local 597. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox on Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 2 – 9PM. Funeral service Monday, December 16, 2013 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30AM to St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox, for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM. Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park.
