Age 96, of Orland Park, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at his home in Orland Park.

Richard is survived by his loving family, children, Linda (Herb) Kucinskas, Nancy (Derrell) Sanders, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson

Richard was preceded in death by his wife Lorraine Soderlund (Wood), daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Gary E. Utt.

Richard was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of the First Church of God in Oak Lawn and Parkview Christian Church in Orland Park.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423, Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM and again on Monday, October 11, 2021 at the First Church of God, 4600 W. 111th Street, Oak Lawn, IL 60453, from 1:30 PM until time of funeral service at 2:00 PM.
