Richard L. Davidson

Age 80, of Frankfort formerly of Park Forest, Chicago Heights and Harvey, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

Richard is survived by his loving family, wife, Martha Davidson (nee Short), daughters, Dr. Lisa (Paul) McGrady and Laura (David) Cler, grandchildren, Lilian McGrady, Daniel McGrady, Jackson Cler, Jason Cler and Jimmy Cler, sister-in-law Elizabeth Davidson and also many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Louise (nee Jones) Davidson, brothers Roger Davidson and Robert Davidson.

Richard was a teacher Prairie Hills Junior High School, and a teacher and principal at Deer Creek Christian School. He was a member of Hickory Creek Church in Frankfort, choir director at Village Bible Church, directed Sing-A-Lings for Homewood Park District and was a member of a Barber Shop Chorus for many years.

Family will receive friends at Hickory Creek Church, 10660 W. Lincoln Highway, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and again on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM with a funeral service in the church at 11:00 AM.
