Richard J. Wisniewski
88, of Lockport, formerly of Hot Springs, AR, passed away April 11, 2017 at Rock Run Place - Memory Care, Joliet. Richard was born in Chicago to the late Joseph and Victoria (nee Wozniak) Wisniewski. Beloved husband of the late Theresa A. (nee Pocius); loving father of Michael (Ginger) Wisniewski, the late Cathrine Runge, Richard (Marianne) Wisniewski, and Susan (Robert) Van Diver; cherished grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of 18; dear brother of Angie Kruegler, the late John, the late Eugene and the late John; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Richard was also preceded in death by two grandsons, David Wisniewski and Tommy Sorg. He was retired from American Can Co. after over 30 years of service. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E Francis Rd. New Lenox, IL 60451 on Friday, April 14, 2017 from 3 – 8pm. Funeral Service Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 10:00am in the funeral home chapel. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville.
