RICHARD “JUNIOR” J. JONTES

Age 63, of Lockport, passed away Thursday, August 18th, 2011 at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet.

Richard is survived by his loving family, wife, Donna Jontes (Hutchinson), children, Christine (Keith) Carberry, Anthony (Kim) Jontes, Deborah (Matt ) Bumber, Daniel Taylor, grandchildren, Kevin, Heather, Vincent, Devin, Cody Alexandra, great grandchildren, Charlotte and Zoey.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, John & Irma Jontes (Vitali) and sister, Maria Jontes.

Richard was a retired Lieutenant of the Lockport Fire Department (1971-2000) and was the recipient of the Fireman of the Year Award in 1987.

Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, on Tuesday, August 23rd, 2011 from 10:00 AM until time of memorial service at 11:00 AM.
