Age 89, of Lockport, IL. formerly of Dolton, IL passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home with his family at his side. Richard was born in in the Roseland neighborhood of Chicago to the late Phillip and Caroline (nee Mazur) Burns. Beloved husband of the late Gloria (nee Schultz); loving father of Debra Burns (Robert Farmer), Thomas Burns, and Kimberly (Michael) Deloian; cherished grandfather of Richard, Alec, Evan, Emily, and Nathan; and great-grandfather of Gracie Lou Ann and Evan. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Monday, August 5, 2019 from 3:00pm until time of Funeral Service at 8:00pm. Interment will be private.
