Richard A. Persson

Age 85, a resident of Florida and Frankfort, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2020. Beloved husband of 48 years of the late Lucille G. (nee Jensen) Persson; loving father of Kristina (late Tom) Venskus, Brenda (Mark) Michuda, Richard (Laurie) Persson, Jr. and Tamara (Matt) Okma; beloved brother of Linda (Ken) Strong and Jeanette Persson; cherished grandfather of Tony (Emily) Michuda, Chloe (Matt) Cooper, Mimi (Nick) Herztog, Tim Michuda, Alya Venskus, Jensen Venskus, Elizabeth Okma, Tori Okma, Jordan Persson, Joe Persson and grandog’s Oakley and Charlie; dear son of the late Stanley and Ruth (nee Dixon) Persson. Richard was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in Korea, a member of Carajou Hunting Club, Olympia Fields Country Club, Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church and the Choir Men’s Endemble. He donated to Glenwood School for Girls and Boys. He enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing and an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic a celebration of Richard’s life will be held at a later date.
