65, of New Lenox, passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 30, 2016 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center, Joliet. Ray was born in Joliet to the late Glen and Virginia (nee Filson) Stawick. Beloved husband of Lynnette (nee Perretta); loving father of Rachel Stawick, Andrew Stawick and Stephen (Dawn) Stawick; cherished grandfather of Christoph and Anja Stawick; dear brother of Larry (Marsha) Stawick and Keith (the late Cindy) Stawick; fond uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Ray was a self-employed IT Professional/Private Contractor. He was a former Board Member of the Marty J. Larson II Foundation and former New Lenox Park District Commissioner. Ray coached N.L. Boys Baseball and NLGSA and helped start the New Lenox Lightning and New Lenox Power girl's fast pitch softball teams. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox on Friday, October 7, 2016 from 3 – 8PM. Funeral Service and Interment will be private.
