RAYMOND F. STUKEL

Age 96, passed away on Saturday, April 16th, 2022 at Lightways Hospice House in Joliet.

Raymond is survived by his loving family, wife, Marilyn Stukel (Meurer), children, Deborah Skrtich, Nancy (Robert) Nork, grandchildren, Bradly (Sara) Skrtich, Kevin (Erin) Skrtich, Katie (Brandon) Newberry, Michael Nork, great grandchildren, Wyatt Skrtich, Karson Skrtich, Jackson Skrtich, Tyler Skrtich, Sean Skrtich, Maxwell Skrtich, Molly Newberry and numerous nieces and nephews.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, John & Gertrude Stukel (Weber), son, David Stukel, brother, Robert (late Betty) Stukel, son in-law, Gregory Skrtich.

Raymond was a WWII Army Air Force Veteran and retired from APSA (Joliet Arsenal) in 1973. He greatly enjoyed painting, woodworking, fishing, hunting, gardening, baseball and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. Raymond was also known to be an avid Chicago White Sox fan.

Family will receive friends Saturday, April 23rd, 2022 at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 from 9:00 AM until time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment, Mount Olivet Cemetery, Joliet, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lightways Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
