77, late of New Lenox, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Joliet Area Community Hospice, Joliet. Born in Dubuque, IA to the late Harvey and Dorothy (Hacker) Eichhorn. Beloved husband of the late Frances L. (nee Howells) Eichhorn. Loving father of Andrew, Amy (Stewart) Stout, and David (Cheri); Cherished grandfather of five; Dear brother of Nancy (the late Ronald) Fesher, Melanie (Jim) Ferenc, Judith (the late Ken) Whitledge and the late Richard Eichhorn; Fond uncle of many. Paul was a school teacher for District 150 for 27 years, retiring in 1994. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, New Lenox, a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran and a member of New Lenox American Legion Post 1977. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Semper Fi Wounded Warriors Fund at www.semperfifund.org would be appreciated. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox, IL 60451 on Friday, February 15, 2013 from 3-8PM. He will lie in state on Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 10:00AM until time of service at 11:00AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, New Lenox. Private Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
