PAUL J. BANIK

Age 81, of Frankfort, passed away on Saturday, April 16th, 2022 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

Paul is survived by his loving family, wife, Mary Banik (Isaacs), children, Lisa (Alan) Milla, Yvonne (Bob Lavelle) Banik, granddaughter, Allisa Milla, sibling, TJ Ruttenberg and numerous nieces and nephews.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen & Irene Banik (Miskovich), siblings, Gaze Miskovich, Vincent Ruttenberg, Tina Bartko, Anthony Ruttenberg and Charles Ruttenberg.

Paul was a very active longtime member of St. Victor Church in Calumet City as an usher, member of Handicapped Awareness and the Italian Catholic Confederation. He retired from Republic Steel in Chicago after 30 years as well as the Public Works Department in Calumet City after 18 years.

A Funeral Mass is scheduled on May 4th, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 19515 115th Avenue, Mokena IL 60448. Interment will be private.
