Age 86, a resident of New Lenox, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019. Beloved husband of Patricia (Howard); loving father of Diane Davison, Cheryl Baggs, and Daniel Fuerst; cherished grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather of 10; dear brother of Lois (John) Meyer; fond brother-in-law of Wayne Howard; also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, ang grand dogs. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Ruth Fuerst (Lucas). Paul was a United States Army Veteran, proudly serving his country in the Korean War. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in New Lenox and the Joliet Area Garden Club. Interment with full military honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Rd., Elwood, IL 60421 on Monday, January 21, 2018 at 9:30 AM. A Memorial Service to follow at Trinity Lutheran Church, 508 North Cedar Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations to Trinity Lutheran Church, Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Waterstone Circle, Joliet, IL 60431, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
