Age 74, late of Harvey. Passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Ingalls Hospital. Born in Chicago to the late Edward M. and Marie (nee Brzycki) Potocki; Loving father of Richard (Teresa), Paul Jr., Michael (Patricia), William and Jacqueline Potocki; Dear grandfather of Kristin, Richard, Carolynn, Lydia, Michael Jr., Keith Jr., Myles and Keira; brother of Dorothy (the late Edward) Rosko, Bernadine (Martin) Golobic, the late Frank, the late Donald, the late Edward and the late Richard (the late Rose); sister-in-law of Lee Potocki. Paul was Owner/Operator of Arkay Heating 1974-Present, a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local #73, a Chicago Police Officer from 1965-1975 and a U.S. Army Veteran. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox IL 60451 on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 2 – 9PM. Funeral service Thursday, July 19, 2012 with prayers at 9:30AM to St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
