Age 76, passed away Friday, February 19, 2016 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice. Patricia was born in Memphis, TN to the late Sylvester L. and Hester E. (nee McGuire) Ruettiger. Beloved wife of the late Richard J Furdek; loving mother of Pamela Perona, Michael (fiancée Pamela Hochhalter) Furdek and Stephen Furdek; cherished grandmother of Jillian Perona, Stephanie Kozora, Kele Cristofaro, Jacob Furdek and Amanda Furdek; great-grandmother of Brantley Lerner; dear sister of Robert (Sue) Ruettiger, Ruth (the late Al) Scherry, Mary Beth Walsh; fond aunt of many. In lieu of flowers, Memorials in Patricia's name to Joliet Community Area Hospice would be appreciated. Family will receive friends on Monday, February 22, 2016 at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox IL 60451 from 3pm - 9 pm. Funeral service Tuesday, February 23, 2016, chapel prayers at 9:30 AM to St. Mary Church, 19515 S. 115th Ave., Mokena, IL 60448 for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial.
