92, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Alexi Senior Living, Matteson, IL. Norm was born in Badger, IA to the late Mark and Anna (nee Eikedahl) Tuftedal. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy R. (nee Mesko) Tuftedal; loving father of Denise (Kent) Schmidt and Debbie (late David) Nick; cherished grandfather of Danielle (Timothy) Ryan, Derek (Jill) Nick, Lindsay (Rob) Weis, and Jason Schmidt; proud great grandfather of Jack Ryan, Adam Ryan, Henry Siovaila, and Luke Ryan; dear brother of Helen (late Ralph) Johnson, the late Kenneth (late Ann) Tuftedal, and the late Morton (late Irene) Tuftedal; loved uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Norm was a Loan Officer at 1st National Bank of Dolton retiring after 30 years of service. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Private inurnment with Full Military Honors will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
