Norman F. Burklow, age 70 of Monee, formerly of Oak Forest and New Lenox, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012. He is survived by his loving family; wife Gloria (nee Pietras) Burklow; children Craig Burklow, Keith (Kim) Burklow, Deanna (Lonny) Smith and Nicole Burklow; brothers Robert (Joan) Burklow and Eugene (Carole) Burklow; grandchildren Jennifer, Derek and Kyle Burklow, Anthony Burklow, Ashley (Anthony) Hass, Amanda and Angela Burklow, Ericka Burklow, Alyssa Koce, Mark Burklow, Taylor and Madelyn Valencia, Makayla and Wyatt Smith and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Lillian Burklow. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Monday, June 11, 2012 from 3 until 9pm. Funeral service in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 10:00am. Interment will follow to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the family would be appreciated.
