Nellie Mae Throw (nee Flavor)
91, formerly of Harvey and Matteson, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2018 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home, Joliet. Nellie was born in Chicago to the late William and Lula (nee Cassidy) Flavor. Beloved wife of the late Otto Throw; loving mother of the late Edward Throw, Raymond (JoAnn) Throw, and Otto Throw; cherished grandmother of eight and great grandmother of numerous great grandchildren; dear sister of Ray Richardson, Gloria Nelson, the late Bill Hazlip, the late Fray Brotch, the late Ellen LeFevre, and the late Mary Lou Fremouw. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel on Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 3:00pm until time of prayers at 7:00pm. Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Chicago will be private.
