Goldie was born in Chicago and lived in Lockport since 1936. Survived by her devoted and doting daughter, Lorelei. Her loving husband, Mylon, and dear son, Herbert, preceded her in death.

You might remember Goldie from her active participation in Job's Daughter's Bethel #9 (Honored Queen), Lockport Women's Club (Past President), Silver Cross Advisory Board, Future Nurses of America (Originator), Statesville Penitentiary (Accountant), 1st UMC of Lockport (Superintendent of Sunday School), Den Mother, Election Judge, ISEA, LAGHS, Woodruff Golf Course "Swingers," various bridge and garden groups.
Goldie infused her inner strength into all with whom she came in contact.

She will be forever known for her positive life outlook. Mama decorated our lives with her spirituality, love, compassion, thoughtfulness, and genuine interest in each of us. Immense appreciation to her very special friends who continued to keep in touch.

In lieu of remembrances, please give a hug to your special someone and say a prayer. Goldie's final happy hour was privately held.
