Mrs. Lois L. Peterson

Lois L. Peterson, 80, of New Lenox, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2013. Born in Chicago to the late Rudolph and Ruth (nee Weyer) Schrey. Beloved wife of Donald H. Peterson; Loving mother of Barry (Jeri) Worden, Gail (Clay) Eckstein, Jill (Scott) Jaros, Robert (Velina) Worden, Cheryl (Ken) Meyer, and Dawn (John) Baldovin; Loving step-mother of Susan Peterson and Lynn Sarkisian; Cherished grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of one; Dear sister of Marcia (William) Pearson. She was preceded in death by her grandson Kenneth Meyer. Lois was a retired secretary for Counrty Club Hills School Dist. 160 and the City of Country Club Hills. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451, Saturday, October 5, 2013 from 2:00PM until time of Prayer Service at 8:00PM. Interment Private.
