Kathy H. Martin (Davis)
Age 54, a resident of Elmhurst, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018. Beloved wife of John Martin; loving mother of twin boys, Bradley and Christopher Martin; cherished daughter of Lonny and Sylvia Davis (Kopczynski); treasured sister of Jackie (Anthony) Neri and their three children – Gina, Anthony and Olivia; brother Michael (Rose) Davis and their two children – Michael and Dan; Sister-in-laws, Elaine and her husband Joe; Nancy and her husband Guy –and their two children – Amanda and Nick; brother-in-law, Jim and his wife Karen and their three children – Jason, Tara and Jacob; along with her dear best friend Margie (Dave) Boenzi. Kathy was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Jerome, and Sharon. She earned her Bachelor's degree at DePaul University with honors and successfully passed the CPA exam. She worked at McDonald's Corporation for over 28 years. She held various leadership and strategic roles; most recently Vice President of the Corporate Controller Group. She served on the hospital board of Alexian Brothers. She was an avid reader, enjoyed travelling, and riding her bike. Kathy's real and abiding passions were her family and her friends. She sought to instill in her children a spirit for adventure, zest for life, and commitment to hard work. We will miss her wit, warmth, and humor; which she shared generously with all. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 3-9 PM with a Memorial Service beginning at 7:00 PM. Interment private.
