Evelyn Romayne Krohn Boness (nee Cramer)

Age 96, resident of Lockport for 70 years, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Loving mother of Evelyn (Robert) Quevillon; beloved grandmother of Julie (David) Lopez, Melissa (Matt) Quevillon-Garcia, Joel (Staci) Quevillon, Lisa (Tim) Jungles, and Jill (Jeff) Gerard; cherished great-grandmother of 16; dear sister of Walter (late Mable) Cramer; fond sister-in-law of Anna Mae Cramer and Harry Bernard. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents: Fred L. and Henrietta Cramer nee Fishbach; husbands: Elmer F. Krohn and Raymond Boness; son: William F. Krohn; brothers: Les Cramer and Kenneth Cramer; and sister: Betty Bernard. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lockport for 75 years, member of the VFW women's Auxiliary of Lockport, and member of Illinois Bell Telephone Pioneers. Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, on Friday, July 13, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral service Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1500 South Briggs Street, Lockport, IL 60441. Interment Mount Vernon Memorial Estates, Lemont, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lockport or Resurrection Lutheran Church in Channahon.
