Donna R. Rodeghero (Dickinson)
Age 87, a resident of Lockport, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017 after 14 years of a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. Beloved wife of 68 years to William Rodeghero; loving mother of the Very Rev. Jeffery Rodeghero, and the late Dale (Janet) Rodeghero; cherished grandmother of Rachel (Bill) Nichols, Jessica Burke, and Sarah Dale Rodeghero; and great-grandmother of Kylie, Georgie, Tommy, Dewey, Billy, and Nate; also survived by numerous treasured nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Louise Dickinson (Sandaford); siblings: Ernest Dickinson, Pearl (late Richard) Rodeghero, and Thomas (late Donna) Dickinson. The family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank-You to Donna's caregiver Salomeja Ringiene, and Apex Hospice for their dedicated aid and support. Donna was the former secretary for Lockport Special Education, St. Joseph Parish in Lockport, and Argonne National Laboratory. She was past President of the PTA at Taft Elementary School, and part Owner of Industrial Paint Company M.E.N. Donna enjoyed bowling, dancing, and traveling with her husband. The family will receive friends at St. Dennis Catholic Church, 1214 S. Hamilton St., Lockport, IL 60441, on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Lockport City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org. would be appreciated.
