Walter E. Wilkosz
Age 97, of New Lenox, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Salem Village Nursing Home in New Lenox. Beloved husband of the late Jean B. Wilkosz (Rzeszutek); loving father of Ralph Wilkosz, Robert (Pamela) Wilkosz, son-in-law, Doug White; cherished grandfather of Lori (John) O'Keefe, Kelli (Mark) Kolar, Jennifer (Sam) Duncan, and great-grandfather of Mackenzie, Connor, Madison, Karagan, Harrison, Brandon, Meghan; dear brother of Otto (late Angie) Wilkosz; fond uncle Steven Wilkosz. Walter was preceded in death by his daughter Linda White, parents Waldo and Eva Wilkosz (Cienciaia), brother Arthur Wilkosz, daughter-in-law Carol Wilkosz, and nephew Gregory Wilkosz. Walter was a USAAC Veteran of World War II, and former member of the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed gardening, carpentry, and playing pinochle. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 2:00 PM until time of Memorial Service at 5:30 PM. Interment, private. For information www.kurtzmemorialchapel.com or 815-485-3700.
