Steven Toth
Age 84, son of the late Steve and Gizella Toth. Beloved husband of 62 years to Irene (nee Darnay) of Frankfort, formerly of Riverdale and Burnside, went to be with the Lord on March 26, 2016. Loving father of Cynthia (James) Stetins, Steven (Amber) Toth, and Kenneth Toth; cherished grandfather of James Stetins, Matthew Stetins, Nick Stetins, and Fallon Toth; dear brother of Dee (Gerald) Crandall, and brother-in-law of Helen (late Stephen) Simko. Also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews; and his beloved Chihuahua, Stewie aka "Zeto," and a multitude of friends that he treasured. He is fondly remembered as a talented musician, music teacher, pianist, organist, soloist, and choir director. He served with dedication the congregations of Calvin Reformed Church in Lynwood and St. Mary's Queen of Apostles Church in Riverdale for a total of 62 years. All those that he touched will remember his upbeat personality and his caring and generous ways. A memorial visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 10:00 AM until time of Memorial Service at 12:00 Noon. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mary's Queen of Apostle Church, 207 W. 145th St., Riverdale, IL 60827 or the Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind, 1850 West Roosevelt Rd, Chicago, IL 60608 would be appreciated.
