68, of Plano IL, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016. Ronald is survived by his family: beloved sister-in-law and caregiver Susan Sterling; loving nephew Arron (Nancy Spagnolia) Sterling; and adoring great-nephew Tucker Owen Sterling; and dear cousins Joanne (Edward) Parks, and Patsy (Randall) Carlson. He was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Ruth Sterling nee Rauch. Ron was a member of the Lockport Moose Lodge 1557. He was an avid Nascar and Chicago Cubs fan, and enjoyed hunting. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 3-8 PM. Funeral service Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Mount Vernon Memorial Estates, Lemont, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 38105 would be appreciated.
