Age 93, lifelong resident of Lockport, passed away peacefully at home Monday, February 6, 2012, with his family at his side. Beloved husband of Lydia Lee nee Barth; loving father of Wayne (Norma) Johnson, late Gary (KIA Vietnam) Johnson, and Linda Lindemann; dear brother of the late Fred Johnson who died in World War II; cherished grandfather of Richard, Chad, Zach, Dan, Shellie, and the late Sabrina; and great-grandfather of Chandler, Douglas, Sam, Dalian, Celia, and the late Alexis. Robert was a Army Veteran, 20th Armored Division Tanks, European Theatre, and employed by Reynolds Metals for 35 years. Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton St., Lockport on Thursday, February 9th, 2012 from 11 AM until time of Funeral Service at 1 PM. Interment Lockport City Cemetery, Lockport, IL. Memorial donations to TLC Animal Shelter or St. Jude's Children's Hospital appreciated.
