Orlando A. "Curly" Lamparelli
Age 95, born Naples, Italy, and came to the United States at the age of 10. Passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 in New Lenox surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Lynette for 45 years; loving father of Teresa Wisniewski (Bill Foltz), Todd Lamparelli, and Tia (Steve) Hattan; cherished grandfather of Todd Jr., and Nicholas Lamparelli, and Joshua Wisniewski; dear brother-in-law of Kathy (Harry) Fabie; also survived by his loving nieces and nephews. Curly retired in 1982 as a Superintendent from Verson All Steel Press Company, volunteered for Will County Forest Preserve, which he walked 4,000 hours and received an award for his accomplishments from President Bush. He loved baseball, was a Cubbies fan for many years, and enjoyed life to the fullest. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox, IL 60451 on Friday, March 16, 2012 from 4-8 PM. Funeral Service Saturday, March 17, 2012, at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment private.
