Age 88, a resident of Kell, IL., formerly of Mokena, IL., passed away on January 29, 2017. Beloved husband of Sandra Faye (nee Bass); loving father of Timothy L. (Amy) Lingle of Thompsonville, IL., Teddy W. (Kathy) Lingle of Manhattan, IL., and Tracey L. Lingle of New Lenox, IL.; cherished grandfather of Brandon (Kristen), Christopher (Tiffany), Jeremy (Courtney), Lucas, Krysia (Jack), Randon (fiancé Taylor), Malai (fiancé Kyle), and Kaidon; and great-grandfather of 6; dear brother of Rev. Clifford (Lacene) Lingle of Colterville, IL.; also survived by his son-in law David Perry of Atlanta, GA. He was preceded in death by his daughter Kathryn Collett Perry, and grandson Staff Sargent Matthew. Lester was a United States Army Veteran. He retired from Amtrak as a Material Control Clerk and was formerly a butcher for 27 years. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 5-9 PM. Funeral service Friday, February 3, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.
