95, of Manhattan formerly of Matteson and Frankfort, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015 in Bolingbrook, IL. Beloved husband of the late Athanasia nee Anagnostopoulos; loving father of Nick Sakellaris and Helen (John) Valaveris; his cherished grandchildren Maria (Ted) Karnezis, Athanasia "Tammy" (Steven) Kinman, Elias (Dyan) Valaveris and Nickolas Blue; his dearest great grandchildren Anastasia, Stefanos, Gianna, Konstantinos, Elias and Gabriella. Gus was preceded in death by his parents Nikolaos and Eleni nee Hatzopoulos, and siblings, Dimitrios (Evanthia) Sakellaris, Marigoula (Sotiris) Sotiropoulos, Ioannis (Demetra) Sakellaris, Vasiliki (Stavros) Patouha, Angeliki (Konstantinos) Orsanithis, Alexandra Sakellaris, and George Sakellaris. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Friday, October 30th, from 5-8PM. Funeral Service Saturday, October 31st, at 10:00am in the funeral home chapel. Interment Maplewood Cemetery, New Lenox. IL.
