54, of New Lenox, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 8, 2015. Beloved husband of Janet nee Schwieger; loving father of Mary Catherine (Michael Jr.) Payton, Elizabeth (Jason) Blair, Joseph H. (Amy) Libner, Jacob (Alison) Patterson, Joshua (Stephanie) Libner, Kristin (Edward) Hartnett, and Mitchell (Nikki) Libner; cherished grandfather of 18; dear brother of Maryann (Michael) O'Connell, Henrietta (Mark) Johnson, Leona (Bob) Sowinski, Tammy (Dave) Lawryn, and Michelle (Adam) Holt; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Dorothy Libner, and son Michael Libner. Joe was an avid Bears and Cubs fan. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E.
