71, of New Lenox, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2012 in Joliet. Beloved husband of the late Dayle nee Sly; loving father of Donald (Amy) Ciesielski and cherished grandfather of Morgan Ciesielski. Jon was preceded in death by his parents Edmund and Garnette nee Pyle; and siblings: Parker and Garrett Nelson, and Margaret Crawford. He was a Viet Nam Navy Veteran, and loved antique trackers and trains. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451, on Thursday, August 30, 2012 from 7PM to 9PM. Funeral service on Friday, August 31, 2012 at 8:00AM in the funeral home chapel.
