Harold "Harry" W. Otten
Age 77, of Romeoville, formerly of Green Garden Township, Frankfort, IL passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017. Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Temenak); loving father of Mark (Anita) Otten, Donna (Nick) Cifonie, Phillip (Jeanie) Otten, Joseph (Susan) Otten, Thomas (Irene) Otten, and Kurt (Linda) Otten; devoted grandfather of 13, and great-grandfather of 8. He was preceded in death by his brother Frederick Otten, and sister Shirley Guldan. Harry retired from Chicago Journeymen Plumbers Local Union 130. He was a member of St. Boniface Church in Monee, St. Joseph Church in Lockport, and Knights of Columbus. Harry enjoyed golfing, fishing, and the technology of computers. He was very passionate about attending school events and activities for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will revive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton St., Lockport, IL 60441 on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. The family will meet at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 5304W. Main St., Monee, IL 60449 on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Daybreak Shelter, 611 E. Cass St., Joliet, IL 60432 would be appreciated.
