Gerald "Jerry" Capp
Age 70, of Mokena, formerly of Chicago, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2014. Beloved husband of Deanna nee Kniffin; loving father of Allen (Rebecca) Capp and Lisa Capp; cherished grandfather of Greyson; dear brother-in-law of Stanley Piotrowski. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Gertrude Capp and his sisters Trudy Hefley and Janice Piotrowski. Jerry was a United States Marine Veteran and retired as Battalion Chief from the Chicago Fire Department. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox IL 60451 on Sunday, April 13, 2014 from 2-8pm. Funeral Service Monday, April 14, 2014 with chapel prayers at 9:30 AM to St. Jude Catholic Church, 241 West 2nd Ave., New Lenox, IL 60451 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment private.
