Gary L. Lyon
60, of New Lenox, IL. passed away on Monday, January 9, 2012 at Loyola Hospital in Maywood. Beloved husband of Barbara Gindville nee Chamberlin; cherished step-father of Timothy and Sarah Gindville; loving brother of Bill (Linda) Lyon; and dear cousin of Marilyn (Patrick) Jarzembowski. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Minnie Lyon. Gary was a Numismatist "coin collector", Associate Professor at Governors State University, and sang in the choir at Elwood Community Church where he was a member. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox, IL 60451, on Saturday, January 14, 2012 from 10 AM until time of funeral service at 3 PM. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Leukemia Foundation appreciated.
