Age 91, of Lockport, passed away Friday, January 13, 2012. Beloved husband of Frances nee Harr; loving father of Kenneth (Janice) Langley and Marilyn (Roy) Fox; cherished grandfather of Caroline, Matthew (Rhonda), Nathaniel, and Nicholas (Jennifer), great-grandfather of Braden, and great step-grandfather of Kirsten, and Alex; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews; adored son of the late Albert and late Stella Langley; dearest brother of the late Teresa, late Frank (late Zula), late Robert (late Helen), late Hal (late Eileen), and late Ralph (Audrey). Allen was a World War II Navy Veteran, Mason, and member of the First United Methodist Church in Lockport. He was an avid fisher and camper at Meneoka, enjoyed gardening, and Chicago Bears and Chicago Bulls fan. Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, IL on Monday, January 16th, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral Service Tuesday, January 17th, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. Memorial donations to the First United Methodist Church in Lockport appreciated.
