Michelle L. Dresden
33, of Manhattan, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 10, 2020. Michelle was born in Hazel Crest. Loving and devoted mother of Haylee Mahoney; dear daughter of Paul and Jeanne (nee Zolna) Dresden; loved sister of Dawn Dresden and Sandie Dresden; cherished granddaughter of the late Joan and late Robert Dresden and the late Edward and late Lorraine Zolna; also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Michelle was employed at Alro Steel, Bolingbrook and formerly employed by NFI Industries, Elwood. She loved country music and concerts. Michelle loved to ski in the Colorado Rockies with her family and would get stuck in the trees on the "Coyote's Escape Trails" in Vail, where she would laugh so hard she would have to sit down making us all laugh with her infectious giggling! Once in Keystone we skied at night where the full moon was so big she said, I think if go back up the lift, I can try to touch it". Michelle was an avid supporter of Breast Cancer Research, JDRF and Alzheimer’s causes. Michelle will continue to help others with her tissue donation to Gift of Hope. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, Frankfort on Monday, February 17, 2020 from 10:00am until time of Funeral Service at 2:00pm. Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Frankfort.
